I think everyone wants responsible management of district resources, but I'd disagree with your contention that the district administration needs to be "cut to a more reasonable status." General administration costs are just 1% of the annual budget for School District 2--meaning we actually have the lowest administrative costs in the state. I for one dont mind the extra 26$ a year, I believe what most residents want is for SD2 to be more responcible. There are issues with the running of SD2 and that has put a sour taste in peoples mouth, when the administartion is cut to a more reasonable status the mill levies will start to pass. Although I do not have kids yet though I intend to I am still on the fence on this issue.
